Two minutes after coming on as new players, Lemar and Griezmann managed to score goals. Griezmann (66 ') managed to utilize Lemar's mature pass into a goal through a curling shot, Atletico Madrid winning 1-0.
After the goal, the efforts of both teams to score goals always ended in nothing. In the end, Atletico Madrid managed to beat Valencia 1-0 in the third week of the 2022-2023 Spanish League.
